The Sixth National Green Health Sports Competition National Tug-of-war New Star Series (Chizhou Station) was held by China General Administration of Sports, Anhui Provincial Bureau of Sports, Chizhou Municipal Peoples’ Government and China Tug-of-war Association in Anhui province’s Chizhou city today.
The competition was the only grass race of the total 11 races of 2016 National Tug-of-war New Star Series. It had three projects: 640kg male race, 540kg female race and 600kg mixed race. A total of more than 130 athletes from 8 teams coming from Beijing, Henan and Anhui provinces joined in the competition.
Competition records:
Top 3 of 540KG female race: Maanshan Tug-of-war Association Team, Chizhou Sports Team and Anhui Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources 324 Team;
Top 3 of 640KG male race: Chizhou Team; Chizhou College Team and Mengcheng Country 2rd People’s Hospital Team;
Top 3 of 600kg mixed race: Maanshan Tug-of-war Association Team, Beijing City Shunyi District Zhaoquanying Team and Henan Team.
